As a cross-stitch enthusiast, dabbling in many creative crafts with my family growing up, I reconnected with the cross-stitch in my late twenties when searching for an approachable, creative hobby. I found the simple repetitive technique allowed for both a creative outlet but, importantly, an easy mindful practice that helped me to relax and that I could take and do anywhere. I founded Broida with the hope to share this technique with others and create tools to enable the adoption of handwork in an approachable, fresh, contemporary style for the modern day.
